London Foxes ‘07

March 19th, 2007 · No Comments

I’m sick of them, no really! … the grubby blighter’s keep scoffing all the food off my bird table, they scare my cat and leave remnants of their dinning all over the lawn, well ok its not much of a lawn, more of a beautifully overgrown glade, which I feel, is probably the main reason the foxes spend so much time in my back garden, Its sanctuary from the otherwise hostile East London Streets.

Its been four years now, generation after generation seem to wandered into my garden as if its home, there may have been a den founded under my neighbours garden shed a few years ago, possibly many of my foxy visitors stem from those cubs….

This year Its been mainly this female (I think Its a vixen anyway) caught casually sunning herself one summer afternoon, Very sweet, young and slightly naive she posed for me for several minutes before it dawned on her to scarper.

Short slide show of her set below.

Back further… Around April 05 this chap turned up and spent many days throughout that summer living in and around my garden… hes semi blind for all I can tell. He seems to squint all of the time, certainly hes eyes are deep set and seem slightly frosted… hes certainly couldn’t see me very well and gave me loads of opportunities to shoot him over the rest of the year.
